Sweet Amelie – newborn photo session

It’s been far too long since my last blog post! Life just gets in the way, doesn’t it… So do the festive photoshoots I’ve been working on with Christmas around the corner. I keep reminding myself that the day has only 24h Nonetheless I can now show you pictures from baby Amelie’s session. Can you belive she is already almost 3 months old? Time flies so fast! It’s almost unfair. Here are just some of my favourite images from her sessions. She was just perfect for this shoot! Obedient and curious.

There’s nothing more spectacular than Autumn in London’s Royal Parks. The beautiful colours of the season are just great for a gorgeous family photo shoot. I recently had the pleasure (again!) of photographing Aly (@allmumstalk) and her amazing family in Richmond Park. We had such a great time shooting these images!

Here’s the quickest photoshoot we had at this amazing place! It was actually my first time at Peggy Porschen and it’s such a colourful coffee shop I think I’ll be returning to pretty soon in the future! The beauty of giving birth

“Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had… And dealing with fears, you didn’t know existed.” -Linda Wooten I had the honor of taking part in the most amazing thing on Earth! The miracle of giving birth! It was the first one I had ever photographed. It was long, it was an emotional rollercoaster, yet I had witnessed love, strength, hope, and devotion all together. After 41 weeks of pregnancy, 20 something long hours of ‘exciting’ contractions and pain, Amelie Marie finally made an appearance in her mother’s arms. I drove home in the middle of the night, and I cried with happiness. I was so thrilled for those three generations of women in the labour ward and I was so thankful to be a witness to the perfect birth. That night will be with me for the rest of my life! Tributes to London…

London is the city of hope. It’s where the world’s cultures meet, infuse, learn from each other, it’s a place where mothers raise their children. This is Aly @allmumstalk and I created this special maternity photoshoot in order to bring tribute to the city we love because we are celebrating LIFE. Despite the past less fortunate events which brought so much sadness to families and our community, fear will not divide us, but loving and supporting each other will make us stronger and ready for new generations to come. We took the photos at 6am at Westminster, the weather was rather perfect despite the wind which manage to steal our ballons. Enjoy the gallery  

Alice in Wonderland Baby Shower

Let’s all go down the rabbit hole once more! Let’s get back to our childhood memories and start creating new ones for our tiny humans. Here’s Aly @allmumstalk going mad for the Mad Hatter (that’s what happens when you find out it’s a girl). Besides the gender reveal, the tea party was a sum of lovely props from Bohemian Dreams . The flower arrangements from Princess and Ko were simply delightful. From a gorgeous mix of allium with roses and wild flowers. Aly’s 7 months bump looked pretty in an Asos maternity dress, but she was rocking a pair of smart gorgeous Zaccys espadrilles, a gorgeous brand founded by an amazing mum in 2015 (Meg Cope, a former consultant eye surgeon with over twenty years experience in medicine). Read here  more about her moving story, she’s definitely one to keep an eye on. They completed the Alice in wonderland theme completely.
